Next week, the brightest and best of the state’s wine industry will gather in #Denver to celebrate the very best of Colorado winemaking
Oenophiles and gourmands will come together in Denver on Thursday, November 8 to eat, drink and be very merry as they sample the 2018 Governor’s Cup Collection, a group of wines that have been given two enthusiastic thumbs up by a panel of wine professionals from across both the state and the country. The event will also see the Best of Show winner announced by the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board.
The 16 #wine industry professionals (sommeliers, winemakers and wine writers) had the daunting yet delicious task of whittling down a field of 325 wines from 35 wineries to the 13 wines that ended up becoming the Governor's Collection for 2018. At the event, attendees can sample each of the 13 wines along with small plates prepared by some of the state’s top chefs.
